What a GEM!! This is a longtime local seafood restaurant! ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL SERVICE, FOOD, PORTIONS, & PRICE! We go again and again! We ordered off the lunchtime, Senior menu. I ordered the shrimp and clams and the hubby ordered clams and flounder. The meals come with a very generous portion of DELICIOUS hush puppies with honey butter, and french fries. (they are from frozen, not hand cut.) there are large bottles of cocktail sauce and tartar sauce on each table so you have plenty of either or both. What's pictured is the leftovers from my husband and my lunch! Enough to feed us lunch another day warmed up in our toaster oven! YUMMO!!!!
The oyster stew is the reason for the season! We stopped in at lunch and really just wanted a light meal. I ordered a salad and the oyster stew - delicious, just like my mom makes. Hubby had a sandwich and fries, said it was good. Since it was Christmas Eve there were no many there mid afternoon so the service was good.
Amazing seafood options. Everything was fresh. Staff were super friendly. Our new favorite seafood place when we visit the beach.
The best oyster in town ! 1st time here and we are visiting family here and they took us here for dinner tonight and they didn't disappoint The food was delicious, generous and very tasty Must order the ouster for sure and soft shell crab all so so good Service was outstanding, friendly and efficient sorry didn't get her name but she was very nice to us Ambiance is beach vibe clean space and organized.
Another year, another delicious meal at Beck's. I'm not sure there's any other restaurant in calabash that delivers the same quality of food consistently through time. The restaurant is so colorful and fun with murals painted on the wall and it's always busy and full of large groups of people having a lot of fun on vacation. Five stars again, looking forward to our next visit.
Nice interior. Tasty free hush puppies with honey butter. They have draft beer but it's very limited. Seafood was delicious but portions were small for the price. Will visit again.
Beck's has been around forever but that's for a reason--it's amazing. If you like hot, fresh fired seafood then you will be heaven. They have done a great job keeping the place updated, waitstaff is friendly and prices reasonable. But i saved best for last.... their hush puppies. Best in the world. Not even debatable.
